Verifying age protects minors, keeps us compliant with UAE law, and supports the wider goal of keeping nicotine products in the hands of informed adults.

The legal age to buy vapes in the UAE
In the UAE, the legal age to buy and use nicotine products is 18. This applies across all seven emirates, to residents and visitors alike. The sale of tobacco and nicotine products to anyone under 18 is prohibited under Federal Law No. 15 of 2009 on Tobacco Control.

How we verify your age
Age verification happens at two stages, and it applies to every order regardless of payment method, including Cash on Delivery:
- At checkout. When you place an order, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. Submitting an order is your declaration that this is true.
- On delivery. Our delivery team may ask to see valid government-issued photo ID before handing over your order. If the person receiving the order appears to be under 18, ID will be requested.
- Right to refuse. Disposable AE reserves the right to refuse, hold, or cancel any order where age cannot be reasonably confirmed.
Accepted proof of age
When ID is requested, we accept valid, government-issued documents that clearly show your date of birth and photograph:
- Emirates ID
- Passport
If age cannot be confirmed, the order will not be handed over and may be cancelled. We will never complete a sale to anyone who is unable to prove they are 18 or over.
Buying on behalf of a minor is prohibited
Proxy purchasing — buying a vaping product to pass on to someone under 18 — is not allowed and defeats the purpose of these checks. Do not order any product from Disposable AE for a person who is under the legal age. Adults are also responsible for storing vaping products safely and keeping them out of the reach of children.
Your responsibility as a customer
By shopping with us, you agree to provide accurate information about your age, to present valid ID when asked, and to keep any products you buy away from minors. Providing false information to obtain an age-restricted product is a serious matter and may be an offence under UAE law.
