Which Geekvape Should You Buy? UAE Buying Guide

The best Geekvape for most people is a Wenax. It is the MTL pod family, starts at AED 80, and gives the tight cigarette-like draw a switching smoker wants. If you break devices, buy an Aegis instead.

Geekvape covers a wider price range than any brand we stock — from AED 75 to AED 300 — because it makes both simple pods and 200W mods. This guide sorts the four families.

Aegis — the one that survives being dropped

This is the reason Geekvape exists as a distinct brand, and no competitor has a real answer to it.

Aegis devices are built around shock, dust and water resistance — rubberised armour, sealed ports, reinforced frames. If your vape lives in a work bag, a car, or on a job site rather than a desk drawer, this is the range to buy from.

One honest caveat: water resistance is a rating, not a licence. Aegis devices handle rain, dust and drops far better than a standard mod, but they are not designed for submersion, and the seals depend on the port cover being properly closed.

Wenax — the MTL family

Wenax is the range to buy if you are switching from cigarettes. Slim bodies, tight draw, nicotine salt, nothing to configure.

Note there are two things called Wenax S3 — a AED 80 pod system and a AED 150 kit with a larger battery. Check which you are ordering.

Sonder — the budget line

Sonder sits below Wenax and is where the cheapest Geekvape devices live.

  • Sonder Q Lite — AED 75, the cheapest device we sell anywhere
  • Sonder U / Q2 — AED 90
  • Sonder Q — AED 100, 1000mAh

If you want to try a refillable without committing much money, a Sonder Q Lite plus a bottle of salt nicotine comes to about AED 115 all in.

The lettered coil series

Geekvape organises coils by letter rather than by device name, which is clearer than SMOK’s approach once you know the code.

P seriesAegis Pod devices50
Z seriesZeus sub-ohm tanks50
M seriesMesh coils for compatible tanks50
J seriesSeveral pod devices50
G seriesPod formula coils50

The Wenax line uses dedicated pods rather than series coils — Wenax Stylus, K1, M1 and H1 each take their own cartridge at AED 45–50. Aegis One, H45/Hero 2, the U pod and the Q pod are likewise device-specific at AED 40–60.

Check the letter and number on your old coil — for example B Series 0.4 ohm — and match it exactly. Or use the coil and pod finder. Full detail in which coil fits my vape.

Real running costs in AED

  • Device: AED 75 (Sonder Q Lite) to AED 300 (Aegis Touch T200). Most pods sit at AED 90–150.
  • Coils: AED 50 across the lettered series
  • Pods: AED 40–60
  • Tanks: AED 120–135 for Zeus and Z Max, if you go that route
  • Monthly: roughly AED 80–130 including e-liquid

Budget around AED 165 for a Wenax S3 setup, or AED 190 for an Aegis Hero Q if durability matters.

Frequently asked questions

Which Geekvape is best for beginners?

A Wenax S3 at AED 80 or Sonder Q Lite at AED 75. Both give a tight MTL draw and take nicotine salt.

Is the Aegis really waterproof?

Water-resistant rather than waterproof. It handles rain, dust and drops far better than a standard device, but it is not for submersion and the port cover must be closed.

Do B-series coils fit all Geekvape devices?

They cover most current Aegis Boost pod devices, but not the whole range. The Wenax line uses dedicated pods instead. Check your model.

What is the difference between Wenax and Sonder?

Sonder is the cheaper entry line; Wenax has more models, more capacity and more variety. Both are MTL and both take nicotine salt.

How much does a Geekvape cost in the UAE?

AED 75 to AED 300 — the widest range of any brand we stock. Most pod systems are AED 90–150, coils AED 50.

Which Geekvape has the best battery?

The Digi Max at 3000mAh, then the Aegis Mini 2 at 2500mAh and the dual-battery Aegis Legend 5.

The short version

Buy a Wenax if you are switching from cigarettes, a Sonder Q Lite at AED 75 if you want the cheapest way to try a refillable, and an Aegis if you have broken devices before. That last reason is the one nobody else in the market can answer.
